Question:

What is the point of getting the word out for a specifically local project (ex. MSA, Qabeelah, local Masjid)?

Their goal is to service the local community around them, so why go through the pains of having a social media network and communicating with people from across the nation? Shouldn’t they just communicate with their niche via emails and offline marketing?

    Well, from HalfDate’s experience, many local orgs got huge support globally from these social media, also often time local community respects a local organization due to global support.
